A new multi-million dollar building for the Gateway to Science Center in Bismarck is another step closer to reality.

Gateway to Science plans to build a $40 million building on the BSC Campus – on land deeded to the college by the city of Bismarck, specifically for that purpose. The organization is currently in a capital campaign to raise the money.

However, it faces a deadline.

"If they (the center) does not commence construction by August of 2016, the land would revert to the city of Bismarck," said BSC executive vice-president Dave Clark.
