ND GOP Executive Committee votes to cancel 'in-person' state convention

The North Dakota Republican Party’s executive committee has decided to cancel the “in-person” state convention, scheduled for Bismarck March 27th and 28th – due to the coronavirus threat.

That recommendation will go to the party’s state committee later this afternoon.

This follows the Democrats’ decision to cancel their state convention, which was scheduled this upcoming weekend in Minot.

Sources say the GOP is considering other options, including using technology.
