In partnership with the ND Voices Network, advocates and organizations from across the state are joining forces to find solutions to address North Dakota’s child care crisis. The North Dakota Child Care Action Alliance is launching their campaign with a series of listening sessions to hear directly from the community. Zachary Packineau is Director of Outreach and Programming for the North Dakota Voices Network.

"Childcare is a critical component of a thriving economy and access to affordable childcare is really essential for parents to return to the workforce or maintain quality employment. many communities across North Dakota lack affordable childcare to meet the demand for the states working families. What we want to do with these listening sessions is really to dig into the real life impacts of not being able to access childcare for families, for workers, and for providers and employers."

Anyone can attend these sessions on Tuesday, May 3, from 6:00-8:00pm at Dr. James Carlson Library in Fargo or on Monday, May 9, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Ramada Hotel in Bismarck.
