Hear the 2020 PBS Kids Writers Contest winning stories, read aloud by their authors

Each year, children in Prairie Public's broadcast area from kindergarten through third grade are invited to write and illustrate their own stories to submit in Prairie Public's PBS Kids Writers Contest.

Area librarians and educators evaluate the entries to choose one First Place story, along with three Red Ribbon Favorite stories, in each grade level.

Kindergarten

Second Grade
"Cooper and the Germ" by Victoria Arsenault

Third Grade
"Prela's Learning Adventures: Prela Goes to the Shelter" by Paisley Staley
