North Dakota's Community Banking Advantage

Almost half of all deposits in North Dakota are with banks that have under $500 million in assets. These small community banks are vital for their small towns, and have an unusual partner supporting them: the only state-owned bank in the nation, the Bank of North Dakota. Intern Nick Rommel explores their relationship and the unique banking ecosystem that results.
