Americana treasure John Prine threw quite a party and performed a career-spanning set at a historic theater in hip Brooklyn Saturday night to mark the one-year anniversary of his critically-hailed The Tree of Forgiveness. The Cincinnati married folk duo Over The Rhine have announced the lineup for their self-curated Nowhere Else Festival, which happens next month on their Ohio farm and features James McMurtry, John Paul White, Birds of Chicago and Leigh Nash. Nick Cave says policing rock's morality might wind up being a good thing for the genre.
