Allegiant Flights added to Bismarck Airport

Traffic at Bismarck Airport has increased drastically over the last few years. The addition of a new Allegiant Airlines flight will add to this increased traffic.

Parrel Grossman is one of the Bismarck City Commissioners. Last week the Bismarck City Commission approved an airport incentive package.  Grossman said the package includes one year fee waivers and marketing assistance for the Bismarck airport.

Grossman said the airport incentive package has helped Bismarck’s relationship with Allegiant Air. Allegiant Air will add direct flight from Bismarck to Orlando starting on November 23.

“These flights are going to operate twice a week between Bismarck and Orlando,” Grossman said. “That will provide very easy access, an hour or less, to a number  Florida’s top vacation destinations such as Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Daytona Beach, and of course the famous Daytona International Speedway.”

Flights will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 5:15 p.m. He says round trip tickets range between $200 and $400.
