Tuesday, March 13 – Amanda the Great is an online comic strip created by Amanda El-Dweek of Watford City. She joins us to discuss the art of expression through comics and the opportunities for online publishing. ~~~ Allan Kleinsasser shares another essay from his memoir, “Memories of Dakota Jack.” Today’s essay is titled “Long Way from Home.” ~~~ Chuck Lura has this week’s Natural North Dakota essay, “Earth’s Axis on Tilt.” ~~~ The U-S is expected to eat a record amount of red meat and poultry this year.  As harvest Public Media’s Peggy Lowe reports, the reasons are both healthy…and not so healthy. ~~~ This Saturday is St. Patrick’s Day, a time when Ron Smith starts to gear up for the gardening season.
