Wednesday, November 7 – We discuss the election with political science professor Kjersten Nelson of NDSU and our very own Dave Thompson. ~~~  Mark Trahant, editor of Indian Country Today, shares an essay on how Native American candidates fight stereotypes.  ~~~ In an excerpt from this week’s Prairie Pulse television show, host John Harris visits with Howard Barlow, as they discuss his memoir, “From Gutenberg to the Internet in the Flash of a Prairie Lifetime and Other Prairie Stories.” ~~~ From this summer’s TEDxFargo event, we hear from Jerry White. He’s the CEO of Global Impact Strategies, which works on high-impact campaigns, three of which led to major international treaties: the Landmine Ban Treaty, the U.N. Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities; and the Cluster Munitions Ban Treaty.
