Book Talk: "We Are Water Protectors" ~ PBS Kids' Writers Contest ~ News Chat ~ Matt Reviews "Emma"

Friday, March 20, 2020 – The protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline inspired the new children's book, We are Water Protectors. Writer Carole Lindstrom, an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe, wanted to tell the story of her people and their strong connection to the land. We also hear from illustrator Michaela Goade, of the Tlingit and Haida tribes. ~~~ Kids stuck at home? Enter the PBS Kids Writers Contest.
