Host Jack Russell Weinstein visits with Otavio Bueno, professor of philosophy at the University of Miami. Bueno focuses on the philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, and philosophy of logic. He has been trying to develop an empiricist view about science that is compatible with a nominalist view about mathematics and logic. It has led him to explore a number of fascinating and interrelated issues in metaphysics, epistemology and logic.
