Join us in celebrating The Arts Center’s (JFAA) 60th year with “60th Anniversary Show: A Celebration of 60 Years of Creativity.” This special exhibition and auction highlights the diverse talent of artists from our community and beyond. Each artwork, measuring 6 inches by 6 inches, offers a unique glimpse into the creative narrative, spanning paintings, drawings, sculptures, and mixed media. Since its inception six decades ago, The Arts Center has been a cornerstone of artistic innovation and cultural enrichment. As we commemorate this milestone and reflect on our journey, “6×6” underscores the enduring influence of art on our lives and communities. We invite you to join us in honoring this significant anniversary.

Theme:

“60th Anniversary Show” embraces an open theme, encouraging interpretations that resonate with a wide audience, including school-age children. While reflecting on the passage of time, celebrating milestones, or envisioning the future are suggested themes, artists are welcome to explore any subject matter within appropriate boundaries. The Arts Center (JFAA) retains the right to remove artwork with overtly offensive or explicit themes, which will be returned to the artist at their expense.

Community Engagement:

The Arts Center fosters inclusivity by inviting artists of all ages and backgrounds to participate in “60th Anniversary Show.” This exhibition provides a platform for both emerging and established artists, highlighting the capacity of art to inspire, provoke thought, and stimulate dialogue within the community.
