Mandan police are treating the discovery of four bodies in a local business as a multiple homicide.

Police received a medical assist call Monday morning from the RJR property management company.  When they arrived, they found four bodies – three men and a woman.

“It’s not something that you would wake up to early Monday Morning, expecting to get the phone call on,”  Mandan police chief Jason Ziegler told reporters.

Ziegler said there are no suspects, but police are running down leads. He would not comment on the murder weapon, because it is part of the investigation.

“It’s very important that our investigators have the ability to follow up and look into leads and everything else, before those questions can be answered,” Ziegler said.

Ziegler also said the investigation is going to take time.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Morton County Sheriff’s Office are assisting.
