ND COVID-19: 76th death recorded, 33 new cases

Another North Dakotan has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 76.

 

The patient was a woman in her 90s from Cass County. She had underlying health conditions. 

 

Additionally, 33 new individuals tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 

 

13 cases were from Cass County, and eight were from Burleigh County. There were three cases from Stark County. Grand Forks and Sioux Counties each had two new cases. There was one new case each in Dunn, McHenry, McKenzie, Pierce, and award Counties.

 

The positives were from a pool of 3,819 tests administered yesterday for a positive rate of 0.9 percent.

 

Overall, 3,226 people have tested positive for the virus. 

 

There have been 210 COVID-19 hospitalizations in North Dakota. 26 people are currently hospitalized.

 

There have been 2,840 recoveries. This leaves 310 active confirmed infections.
