42 new COVID-19 cases in ND; 240 active cases

The state health department has confirmed 42 new cases of COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide positive total to 3,362.

The positive results were from a pool of 3,945 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.1 percent.

18 new cases were found in Cass County, and 12 were found in Burleigh County. Morton, Pembina, Ramsey and Walsh Counties each had two new cases. Grand Forks, McKenzie, Ransom and Sioux Counties each had one new case.

There have been 162,468 tests completed overall. 98,689 tests have been administered to unique individuals.

27 people are currently hospitalized with the novel coronavirus. There have been 219 hospitalizations overall.

There have been 3,044 recoveries and 78 deaths. This leaves 240 active confirmed cases.
