ND COVID-19: 4 deaths confirmed, 28 new cases found

The state health department has confirmed 28 new cases of the novel coronavirus, and says four more individuals have passed away with the disease.

The state health department has confirmed four more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,536.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 28 new individuals from 12 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 110,926.

These results were from a pool of 1,983 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.45 percent.

14 of those positives were PCR tests, and 14 were antigen tests.

2,084,065 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 449,276 unique individuals have been tested.

Eleven people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 20 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 109,201. This leaves 189 active confirmed cases.
