ND COVID-19: 1,121 reported cases this week

Cases and hospitalizations are trending slightly downward.

Officially confirmed cases of COVID-19 in North Dakota continue to trend slightly downward.

According the Department of Health and Human Service’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,121 new cases were reported in the last seven days. This averages out to roughly 160 new cases statewide per day. The dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 147.

310 cases were confirmed in Cass County, 118 in Burleigh County and 96 in Grand Forks County.

Hospitalizations are also down. In the last seven days, 59 new patients were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19. Currently 60 inpatient beds and seven ICU beds statewide are occupied with COVID patients.
