The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services confirmed 1,057 new cases of COVID-19 this week.
This averages out to 151 new cases statewide per day. The department’s coronavirus dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 139.
269 cases were confirmed in Cass County, 145 in Burleigh County and 104 in Grand Forks County.
61 new patients were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19 this week. Currently 58 inpatient beds and four ICU beds are occupied with COVID patients.
