Indigenous chef Candace Stock on her approach to food
Chef Candace Stock grew up on the White Earth Reservation, and now works at BernBaum's in Fargo. Her training as a chef is focused on events and creating community. Earlier this year, she prepared a multi-course, ambitiously flavored meal in Medora when the Theodore Roosevelt library project hosted a meeting with tribal leaders from the area.
This Saturday, along with Edward Rodriguez, Candace is presenting a (sold-out) Native Heritage Dinner at BernBaum's. You can see the menu she created here.
