Senator Tim Mathern introduced the legislation, and now he's here to explain what it means for the state and it's workforce.
The Office of Legal Immigration will "pursue a comprehensive strategy to address North Dakota’s workforce challenges [and] play an important role in those efforts by helping employers recruit and retain legal immigrants,” according to Governor Burgum, who signed the Office into existence back in April.
