She’s also the author of a new book, “Blaming Teachers: Professionalization Policies and the Failure of Reform in American History.” She joins us to discuss the book and the issues that arise as schools reopen amid the COVID pandemic. ~~~ Chip Brantley is a co-creator and co-host of “White Lies” a special project from NPR's Investigations Team.
