"Mad Grass, A Warrior Returns" ~ Author Marcie Rendon

Friday, August 28, 2020 - Daniel Sobieck is the author of “Mad Grass, A Warrior Returns.” It’s a novel based on actual events near North Dakota’s Dog Den Butte. He visits with Bill Thomas. ~~~ Earlier this week, the McKnight Foundation named Ojibwe author Marcie Rendon its Distinguished Artist of the Year.  Rendon, an enrolled member of White Earth Nation, is the first Native American woman to receive the award in its 25-year history. We visit with Marcie about the award and discuss her new book, “Girl Gone Missing.”
