Monday, March 1, 2021 - Steve Wingate discusses his new novel, released today, The Leave-Takers. It’s his second novel for the Flyover Fiction Series published by the University of Nebraska Press. The series is dedicated to stories of the Great Plains. Wingate is an associate professor of English at South Dakota State University. ~~~ Charley Johnson of the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors and Convention Bureau joins us to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the hospitality industry, and he also explains his concern about House Bill 1298, which would restrict the participation of transgender students in athletics.
