Building Bridges Conference ~ Think Global Act Local Essay ~ Bush Fellow Joseph McNeil

Wednesday, March 27, 2019 – Immigration continues to be a contentious topic. In early April, a conference will feature speakers who have extensively studied the topic. Lutheran Social Services is sponsoring the event. Here with a preview of her comments is presenter Dr. Cari Lee Skogberg Eastman. Also joining us is Shirley Dykshoorn, VP of Humanitarian Services for LSS. ~~~ It’s no easy task to make a living as a creative person, but those who do have advice. Artist Pasteur Mudende has lived and worked in Rwanda, San Francisco, New York, and now North Dakota. He’s is one of the writers of the Think Global, Act Local column published in Fargo Monthly magazine. He shares an essay, “A Cheat Sheet to Perfect Your Hustle.” ~~~~ Joseph McNeil is among the 2019 class of Bush Fellows. He works to create economic opportunities at the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.
