Noumousso Diane dreamed of becoming a pilot in her home country of Mali in West Africa. But educational and career opportunities for women and girls were very limited. Through the encouragement of her parents, Noumousso wound up at the University of North Dakota to study petroleum engineering. But eventually, UND's international specialty, aviation, beckoned, and she is soon to become Mali's first female commercial pilot. Hear her story!
