Black Hole Boost for Soundgarden- April 17, 2019

Streaming for Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" and "Supermassive Black Hole" by British prog-rock trio Muse have gone through the roof after photo of an actual supermassive black hole came out last week. Aretha Franklin was awarded a posthumous Pulitzer for her five decades while LA sound designer Ellen Reid won the coveted Pulitzer for music this year for composing an opera about sexual assault. Spotify drops two Kurt Vile songs- a live version of "Loading Zones" and a cover of the Rolling Stone's "No Expectations." Mick Jagger posts an Instagram of himself among some beautiful flowers with the caption, "A Walk in the Park," signaling to fans that he made it through heart valve surgery in New York last week just fine.
