Dinosaur Day

Dinosaur Day

Dinosaurs roamed North Dakota millions of years ago. Listen to a fun dinosaur story, and dig for dinosaurs on the grounds. The public is invited to a free interactive learning series during August at the Former Governors' Mansion State Historic Site. Participants are introduced to North Dakota’s fascinating history through educational conversations and hands-on projects. Programs are suitable for preschoolers and up. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Cookies and lemonade will be served.
The Former Governors’ Mansion, located at 320 East Ave. B, Bismarck, is managed by the State Historical Society of North Dakota. Admission is free. The mansion is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday, 12-4 p.m. Additional upcoming educational programs sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota can be found at history.nd.gov/events.
