The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society will be hosting their third annual Scarecrows in the Garden fundraising event on Saturday, September 16th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden and Greenhouse (1211 28th Ave N, Fargo). Event proceeds will be used for the Japanese Garden at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden.
Unique Scarecrows crafted by donors will be on display and for sale in the botanic garden. A Fall Market will feature autumn theme crafted wares, fall décor, botanic items, houseplants, herbs, jams, preserves, and baked goods.
There will be a Kids’ Mini Cake Walk, Kids’ Scavenger Hunt, additional kids’ activities, and pumpkins will be for sale. Families are invited to explore the Children’s Garden and take family portraits using the sunflower face boards.
Heart ~ n ~ Soul Community Café will be selling lunch items from their food truck between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
