Get ready to groove at Dat Funk Show, where good food, cold drinks, and live music will keep you moving all night long!
Welcome to Dat Funk Show With Live Performances and Social Hour at TAK Music Venue! Get ready to groove on February 28, 2026 at 7:00 PM (Central Time) with some amazing live performances. Join us for a night filled with funky beats, great company, and plenty of dancing. Don't miss out on this epic inaugural event!

Three sets of music with a horns section shared between two hot bands for one night only! The Mardi Gras Kings will play some rousing tunes reminiscent of enjoying a day in Jackson Square or wandering the French Quarter with some New Orleans traditional jazz. Then, for the first time ever on stage, Dat Rubberband will bring two sets of the funkiest jams in the last half-century, featuring music from The Commodores, Stevie Wonder, Ohio Players, Isley Brothers, Sly & the Family Stone, Peaches & Herb, Temptations, Natalie Cole, and more!

During the social hour and through the first set of funk music, Denise Balzum will be the official food vendor for the evening, serving delicious food items and snacks to please the palate. The venue will also have a variety of cold beverages available for purchase, including several options for adult libations (with proof of ID).
All ages are welcome at this show!

All General Admission ticketholders will have access to a table for enjoying the social hour and performance, available on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to the winter weather, unmonitored coat racks will be available and free for patrons to use.
Hightop General Admission: $12 - For those that enjoy standing during a show, this ticket includes the tables closest to the back; seats are unassigned
ADA Admission: $12
VIP Admission: $18 - For those that enjoy sitting during a show, this ticket includes the round tables closest to the front in the VIP section; seats are unassigned
Hightop Table: $60 - For those that enjoy standing during a show, reserve a hightop table in the front of the general admission section. Will comfortably stand up to 3 concertgoers. Price of the table includes admission to the event. Please note: All tables purchased will be assigned in the order that they were received
VIP Table: $85 - Small round table reserved in the front row of the VIP section. Will seat up to 4 concertgoers. Price of the table includes admission to the event. Please note: All tables purchased will be assigned in the order that they were received
FRONT ROW TABLES: $100 - small round table reserved in the front row(s) closest to the stage. Will seat up to 4 concertgoers. Price of the table includes admission to the event. Please note: All tables purchased will be assigned numerically in the order that they were received.
STUDENTS: Show your valid school ID to receive $10 admission at the door!!! This includes Elementary, Junior/Senior High, College/University student identification cards.
$20 General Admission Tickets will be available for purchase at the door (CASH ONLY)

Central Dakota Children’s Choir presents their annual “Limited Edition Concert Series” on Sunday, March 1 at 2:00 pm & 3:30 pm at the Bismarck High School Auditorium.
Admission at the door is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors/students, and free for children ages 5 and younger. All seats are reserved. Discounted advance tickets are available at www.aboutcdcc.org
The 2:00 pm concert will showcase Jubilate (3rd - 4th grade choir) and Kantorei (7th – 9th grade choir). The 3:30 pm concert will feature Bel Canto (5th – 6th grade choir), Angelica (high school women’s choir) and Cantus (high school mixed choir). As part of CDCC’s 28th season, “Shining Like Stars,” each of the choirs will have the opportunity to perform a broad selection of music from their repertoire and showcase all they have accomplished thus far this season. Concerts are sponsored by North American Coal and Dakota Carrier Network.
Formed in 1998, CDCC has grown from one choir of 65 students to five choirs, a second-grade pre-choir, and a class for first graders with over 300 children in grades 1 - 12 from 44 public, private, and homeschools from central and western North Dakota. The choirs have been invited to perform at many local, state, and regional events and are directed by Teri Fay, Dawn Hagerott, James McMahon, Dr. Dean Jilek, and Lexie Birnbaum and accompanied by Carol Huck, Beth Weiss, and David Larson.
