Grand Forks, ND – February 27, 1883 marks the first day of official existence for the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
Every year near that date, the university celebrates Founder's Day to commemorate the establishment of the school. Next year marks 125 years of higher learning at UND. And - as Prairie Public's Danielle Webster reports, plans are underway for a celebration.
