ND COVID-19: 1 more death, 40 new cases

One more individual has passed away with COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide death toll to 73.

 

The patient was a woman in her 80s from Cass County. She had underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally, 40 more individuals have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide positive total to 2,941.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

  • Burleigh County - 3
  • Cass County – 28
  • Kidder County – 1
  • LaMoure County – 5
  • Richland County – 1
  • Stutsman County – 2

 
2,845 tests were administered, for a daily positive rate of 1.4 percent.

 

119,728 total tests have been completed, with 81,660 of those tests done on unique individuals.

 

33 people are currently hospitalized. 193 have been hospitalized throughout the pandemic.

 

There have been 2,482 recoveries. This leaves 386 active confirmed cases in the state.
