State confirms 4 deaths, 134 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed four more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,435.

 

The patients were:

 

Man in his 80s from Adams County

 

 

 

 

 

 

Man in his 70s from Cass County

 

 

 

 

 

 

Woman in her 70s from Grand Forks County

 

 

 

 

 

 

Woman in her 80s from Stark County

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 134 new individuals from 27 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 99,034.

 

These results were from a pool of 6,540 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.61 percent.

 

79 of those positives were PCR tests, and 55 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

1,609,877 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 401,007 unique individuals have been tested.

 

31 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 74 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 96,763. This leaves 836 active confirmed cases.
