State confirms 1 death; 25 new COVID-19 cases
The state health department has confirmed 25 new cases of COVID-19, and one death related to the coronavirus.
The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,537.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 25 new individuals from ten counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 111,000.
These results were from a pool of 1,543 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.67 percent.
15 of those positives were PCR tests, and ten were antigen tests.

2,089,199 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 450,199 unique individuals have been tested.
Nine people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 21 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 109,267. This leaves 196 active confirmed cases.
