27 new COVID-19 cases confirmed

The state health department has confirmed 27 new cases of COVID-19, for a daily positive rate of 6.43 percent.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 27 new individuals from nine counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 111,265.

These results were from a pool of 424 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.43 percent.

16 of those positives were PCR tests, and eleven were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,099,571 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 452,041 unique individuals have been tested.

18 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 18 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 109,463. This leaves 264 active confirmed cases.
