75 new COVID-19 cases found; active cases top 400

The state health department has confirmed 75 new cases of COVID-19 in residents from 16 counties statewide.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 75 new individuals from 16 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 111,486.

These results were from a pool of 3,659 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.25 percent.

33 of those positives were PCR tests, and 42 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,107,827 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 453,080 unique individuals have been tested.

15 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 30 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 109,547. This leaves 402 active confirmed cases.
