Valdez was found deceased February 10 in downtown Grand Forks, just days after going missing.

Police say a man who went missing from and was later found deceased in downtown Grand Forks died from hypothermia.

26 year old Anthony Valdez was last seen leaving the Level 10 bar in downtown Grand Forks in the early morning hours of February 6. Authorities had asked residents who lived nearby to check their properties for any signs of Valdez. His body was found February 10 in an alleyway in downtown Grand Forks, not far from where he was last seen. It had no obvious signs of trauma.

A statement released by Grand Forks Police says an autopsy completed on Valdez concludes that he passed away as a result of hypothermia, and his death has been ruled accidental.
