ND COVID-19: 1,571 cases confirmed this week

The state health department is reporting a slight decrease in officially confirmed cases.

The state health department is reporting a slight decrease in overall new COVID-19 cases, and a slight increase in new hospitalizations.

According to the department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,571 new cases have been confirmed in North Dakota over the last seven days. This averages out to just over 224 new cases per day. In the past week, North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 206.

431 cases were reported in Cass County, 186 in Burleigh County and 162 in Grand Forks County.

In the last seven days, 114 new patients with COVID-19 have been admitted to area hospitals. Currently 93 inpatient beds and 13 ICU beds are occupied with COVID patients.
