Rick Becker announces for US House

A former Bismarck lawmaker – and the leader of an initiative to eliminate local property taxes – is running for the state’s lone Congressional seat.

Rick Becker made the announcement this morning.

Becker served in the North Dakota Legislature for ten years, beginning in the 2013 session. He previously ran for the US Senate and Governor.

The current Congressman, Republican Kelly Armstrong, has not yet formally announced his plans.
