"Market Warriors" PBS Preview ... New Documentary: “The People of the Upper Missouri: The Mandans.”

Monday, July 9 – A new show is coming to Prairie Public. Market Warriors promises to be an adventure as antique pickers embark on a nationwide treasure hunt, scouring flea markets and antique shows for vintage valuables. Steve Wennblom visits with producer Marsha Bemko. ~~~ The State Historical Society of North Dakota will debut a new documentary this week, “The People of the Upper Missouri: The Mandans.” Joining us are producer Mike Frohlich, writer Wendy Murray and narrator and historian Calvin Grinnell. ~~~ NDSU history professor Tom Isern has this week’s Plains Folk Column, “Frontier Violence.”
