North Dakota's Geologic Legacy ~ Student-Owned Grocery Store ~ Teen Girls and Social Media

  Thursday, February 25 –The publishing arm of the North Dakota Institute for Regional Studies isn’t exactly new, but as of January 1, it has a new name: The NDSU Press. They’ll soon be celebrating with its inaugural NDSU Press Party. To acknowledge the occasion we visit with the first author published under the new imprint, John Bluemle. John was state geologist and director of the ND Geological Survey from 1990 to 2004, and his new book is called North Dakota’s Geologic Legacy: Our Land and How it Formed. ~~~ Small-town grocery stores face big competition from nearby cities.
