Technology in Education ~ Capturing a Swarm of Bees ~ Missouri River Bluegrass Festival ~ Horticultu

Tuesday, June 7 –

Today we visit with two of the presenters at this year’s Prairie Public Teacher Training Institute.  Kayla Delzer is a West Fargo teacher and a 2016 PBS Digital Innovator. And Brad Waid is a technology integration specialist, a popular speaker when it comes to educational technology. ~~~ This is swarm season, the time of year when bees reproduce and find new places to build hives. Reporting for Harvest Public Media, Annie Corrigan tagged along on a swarm chase. ~~~ Jill Wiese of the band Cotton Wood joins us with a preview of this year’s Missouri River Bluegrass Festival, which is coming up later this month at Cross Ranch State Park near Washburn. (Cross Ranch: 701-794-3731) ~~~ Former NDSU Extension horticulturist Ron Smith makes his weekly visit to answer some lawn and garden questions.
