Photojournalists Kim Komenich and Chad Ziemendorf ~ Janna Lutz, Williston Chamber

Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist Kim Komenich is in North Dakota to work on a project for “Intersection Journal,” an online magazine dedicated to capturing the culture, industry and way of life in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming through photography. He’ll be giving a presentation on his work documenting the historical changes in the Philippines in that 1980s. Also joining us is Chad Ziemendorf, the founder of Intersection Journal. ~~~ Williston has been on a wild ride when it comes to doing business, and here to discuss that volatile environment is Janna Lutz, the new executive director for the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce. ~~~ The drop in oil prices has also affected land values, with repercussions on property tax revenues. In North Dakota, schools are protected from the drop by a Foundation Aid Stabilization fund, but some school districts in Texas are not so lucky as we hear in this conversation on The Takeaway with host John Hockenberry. ~~~ Commentary from Bruce Berg, “Questions.”
