Lisa Taddeo’s book examines desire—one of her subjects is from West Fargo.  Ashley Thornberg interviewed Taddeo about Three Women, which publisher Simon and Schuster describes as “based on years of immersive reporting, and told with astonishing frankness and honesty." ~~~ We check-in with Art Cullen, the Pulitzer Prize winning editor of the Storm Lake Iowa Times. We talked with him in February, today you’ll hear his update on the town’s immigration issues, Iowa’s role in presidential campaigns, and its farm economy challenges. ~~~ Historian Tom Isern shares a Plains Folk essay titled “Southern Dinners and Plantation Melodies."
