An initiated measure supporters said would make elections more secure and transparent will not be on the November ballot.
The North Dakota Supreme Court has voted unanimously 5-0 to prevent the Secretary of State from placing Measure 3 on the ballot. Al Jaeger says his office will honor the decision of the Supreme Court.
Jaeger says he can only remember a couple of instances throughout his service as secretary of state that an initiated measure was removed from the ballot ahead of an election.
