2 new COVID-19 deaths, 149 new cases

Two more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the new statewide death toll to 107.

 

The patients were a man in his 60s from Griggs County and a woman in her 70s from Sioux County. They both had underlying health conditions.

 

Additionally 149 new individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 6,933.

127 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 6,785.

These results were from a pool of 4,723 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.7 percent.

Two more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 105.

The patients were a man in his 70s from Grand Forks County and a woman in her 50s from Burleigh County. They each had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 58 new individuals from 18 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 6,660. These results were from a pool of 3,965 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.5 percent.

The patient was a woman in her 80s from Ramsey County. She had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 75 new individuals have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the state, bringing the statewide positive total to 6,301. These results are from a pool of 3,975 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.9 percent.

ND COVID-19: two more deaths, 89 new cases

Two more North Dakotans have passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 102.

The patients were a woman in her 80s with underlying health conditions from Cass County, and a man in his 80s with no underlying health conditions from Burleigh County.

Additionally, 89 new individuals from 21 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the statewide positive total to 6,227. These results were from a pool of 3,458 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.6 percent.

At his weekly coronavirus briefing, Governor Doug Burgum says over the last seven days North Dakota has reached some sobering milestones.

Burgum says active cases of COVID-19 are on the rise in the state, with active cases remaining over a thousand for the last three days in a row. The state's 100th death was also recorded - a woman in her 20s, who became the third North Dakotan to pass away with the virus and having no underlying health issues.

A McKenzie County woman in her 20s has become the 100th person to pass away with COVID-19 in North Dakota. She had no underlying health conditions.

Additionally, 157 new individuals from 30 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the new statewide positive total to 6,141. These results were from a pool of 4,310 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.6 percent.
