Central Dakota Children’s Choir presents their annual “CDCC Limited Edition Concert Series” on Sunday, March 6 at 2:00 pm & 3:30 pm at the Bismarck High School Roy Gilbreath Auditorium. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for students, and free for children ages 5 and younger. For more information, visit their website at www.aboutcdcc.org. The 2:00 pm concert will feature Bel Canto (5th – 6th grade choir) and Cantus (high school mixed choir). The 3:30 pm concert will showcase Jubilate (3rd - 4th grade choir), Kantorei (7th – 9th grade choir), and Angelica (high school women’s choir). As part of our 24th season, “Why We Sing,” each of the choirs will have the opportunity to perform a broad selection of music from their repertoire and showcase all they have accomplished thus far this season. Formed in 1998, CDCC has grown from one choir of 65 students to 5 choirs and a pre-choir with over 250 singers in grades 1 - 12 from 41 public, private, and homeschools from the central and western North Dakota regions. The choirs have been invited to perform at many local, state, and regional events and are directed by Teri Fay, Michael Seil, Dawn Hagerott, and James McMahon and accompanied by Carol Huck and Beth Weiss.
