ND COVID-19: 1 new death, 63 new cases

A man in his 90s from Cass County has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 45. He had underlying health conditions. 

 

Out of 1,190 tests for the novel coronavirus taken yesterday, 63 additional people have tested positive. 56 of the new cases were from Cass County. Ransom and Richland Counties each had two new cases, while Bottineau, Burleigh and Ramsey Counties each had one new case.

 

1,994 people have tested positive overall.

 

The daily positive rate was 5.4 percent.

 

32 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, while 135 individuals have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.

 

There have been 1,269 recoveries. There are 680 individuals who are currently confirmed to have the virus in North Dakota.
