38 new coronavirus cases; daily positive rate above 2 percent

38 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide positive total to 3,576.

The results were from a pool of 1,709 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.2 percent.

There were 13 new cases detected in Cass County, ten in Morton County and nine in Burleigh County. Mountrail County had three new cases. Benson, Pierce and Walsh Counties each had one new case apiece.

A total of 182,283 tests for the novel coronavirus have been administered. 106,122 of those tests have been on unique individuals.

25 people are currently hospitalized with the novel coronavirus. 231 total people have been hospitalized.

There have been 3,195 recoveries and 79 deaths. This leaves 302 active confirmed cases in the state.
