Weber is an Associate Professor of Sociology at North Dakota State University, and she wrote a grant to collect oral histories from veterans. Joshua Zeis grew up on a family farm near Langdon, ND. He joined the North Dakota Army National Guard as a medic. We start his story on the day the commander of the 817th Sappers out of Jamestown told Zeis his life was about the change forever.
