"Come Hell and High Water" ~ Ag Mergers ~ Fargo TEDx: Peter Rieke ~ A Project Unpack Episode

Karl Swenson, a talented 14-year-old from Kindred has been commissioned to compose a piece for band and choir to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the infamous 1997 flood. It’s called “Come Hell and High Water,” and the first movement of the composition will premier Thursday, performed by the Ada-Borup High School Band. Joining Karl for today’s show is Ada-Borup band director Richard Tuttle. ~~~ Part two from Harvest Public Media on mergers in the agriculture industry. ~~~ We share Dr. Peter Rieke’s address from this year’s TEDx event in Fargo. In 1994 he broke his neck and back while rock climbing. Since then, he has developed new mobility devices, one of which he used to resume mountain climbing. ~~~ In another offering from Project Unpack, Ashley Thornberg share oral history from Colin Larrabee, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
